MembersOnline LsDmT ADMIN MOD Your Favorite one-off Free IP/Network Scanner? I have always used Advanced IP Scanner if I was in a situation where I just needed to do a quick scan of the network.

I know you can use programs such as Angry IP Scanner to scan a range of IPv4 addresses, which is useful to see everything on the network. But, what I'm trying to do is obtain the IPv6 addresses of all connected devices. I don't think Angry IP can do this, and when searching Google for an application made for this type of stuff, I mostly just see port scanners, which isn't quite what I need.

Advanced IP Scanner Hello everyone, I am relatively new to bash scripting, but have found some success the past few days with several different network tools like fing, nslookup, nmap, the likes. I was looking to create a bash script that very simply gets the IP address, MAC address, and possible OS (from the TTL) for all active hosts on a network.

Last time I used advanced IP scanner on the corporate network IT security contacted me asking what I was doing and I had to go through explaining to them why I needed the tool.

We've been getting the latest version of Advanced IP Scanner (2.5.4594.1) flagged by SentinelOne and removed. When we ran it through any.run, it showed a lot of HTTPS calls to outside the US and warning about FTP. Previous versions don't have these calls. I decided to try out advanced ip scanner to see what it finds. My dns has recently been flushed though.... 4 alive (ok...my phone, my computer and I think 2 for my router), 1 dead (my tv, unplugged) and....249 unknowns.

Today, I will run an IP Scanner utility, export it to CSV, import to Excel and then do side-by-side comparisons. It takes a long time to do that, is prone to human error, and doesn't happen often enough.
