Hong Kong Institute of Construction Managers (“Institute” or “HKICM”) is the only local professional institution representing the construction management profession in Hong Kong.

Hong Kong Institute of Construction Managers has established close relationship with various building and construction professional institutions and associations in Mainland China, Macau and overseas.

The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers has established close relationship with engineering institutions/authorities throughout the world. It has signed agreements for reciprocal recognition of professional and technologist qualifications with many engineering institutions/authorities. These include:

- Memorandum of Mutual Recognition of Membership signed on 8 March 2018 (GPD & CVS) - Memorandum of Mutual Recognition of Membership signed on 29 November 2018 (LSD & CLS)

This does not apply to any Corporate Member of the Planning and Development Division of HKIS or the Planning and Development Professional Group of RICS whose admission to membership is by virtue of a reciprocity agreement with another professional body.

This MOU aims to set the tone between CABEHK and HKICM for more frequent professional exchange of information and knowledge in the near future.
