Re: What Credit Score is needed for Macy's Card? Macys was my first Dept store card. At that time I had 3 baddies and my scores were in the high 5'S. They started me out with a 300 CL. Now I'm up to 1000. Always made small purchases ( I have plenty of socks for the next 5 years ). Most important I paid in full. Hope that helps.

Re: Macys store card When you log on to your account, you can click on the Macys store cards and see the specific rewards. They sometimes have a brochure at the checkout that does the same thing. I believe the gold level starts to earn star rewards certificates. You'll get $10 star rewards certificates based on 1.5% of Macy's purchases.

What was presented to you at the store was a Bloomingdales Visa. A visa card can be used anywhere. Bloomingdales store cards can only be used at Bloomingdales. Until Bloomingdales buy's Macy's it will always be that way.
