On my machine (Windows 10 Home), I can download LibreOffice from its website without a problem. However, on my father’s machine (Windows 10 Pro), there’s always a problem downloading the latest version.

I have a new computer and now all my LibreOffice documents want to open in Microsoft Word (which I don’t have) instead of LibreOffice, I have to left click on the file and choose open with LibreOffice. I would like it to open automatically in LibreOffice instead, like it did on my old computer. Thanks!

In general, you don’t install fonts exclusively for LibreOffice (except for LibreOffice Portable, which has its own fonts folder); normally, fonts are installed system-wide.
