For those of us that are specifically avoiding an Ace because we enjoy Solving Wordle, a word like "adieu" satisfies the need to start with a word that will never be the Solution.

The version of Wordle that got popular is completely free, with no ads, and is web-based, but a bunch of clones are popping up as downloadable apps filled with ads trying to milk it for cash! That's what the whole controversy is about.

I'm just looking for people who feel the same as me (pure rage). To my knowledge, the 'stare cloud pinky' tactic started with the wordle group on tiktok. And yes it is a good strategy but it's so annoying when that's all people do. What's the point of mind numbingly typing out three words? Doesn't it ruin all the fun?

I usually start with the word 'WHORE'. Yes I know, very mature, but that isn't the point. Since today, where the NYT now hosts wordle, this word is no longer recognized as a word. I can not wrap my head around the idea, that the NYT would feel the need to censor the word list.
