Tracking a package after 120 days... : r/UPS - Reddit

I need to track a package that is past the 120 day mark, UPS.com just says "UPS could not locate the shipment details for this tracking number. Details are only available for shipments made within the last 120 days. Please verify your information." Odd, because I just checked a fedex package from over a year ago. Regardless, I know that I can call up and get basic info on it (delivered or not ...
UPS claims a package I dropped off “was never shipped”.
www.reddit.com
I recently dropped off a package at a UPS store that had a prepaid label. It shows no movement on the tracking number…the recipient never received it. I called and spoke with them twice twice, they said they don’t have any receipt of the package and never scanned it.
Are the estimated times ever correct? : r/UPS - Reddit

If it hasn’t been handed off to UPS yet, how could they accurately estimate? 90% of these come down to the shipper printing the label/tracking and not physically shipping the box yet. That allows them to mark it as shipped to hit their metrics, without doing the work of shipping yet. Add a couple days for them to pull and pack and then UPS ...

When the package is scanned to be entered in a delivery vehicle, the tracking status gets updated to the Loaded on a delivery vehicle and when the delivery vehicle leaves that place to deliver the product around the area then the tracking status gets changed to out for delivery.
Is there any way to track shipments that are past 120 days old? : r/UPS

In this instance, the shipment left the warehouse back in March. Of course, due to the age of the shipment, it can't be tracked online. My USPS tracking number says that the package is still in pre-shipment. The last notification I received was on june 8 from UPS stating that the package has arrived at the local post office. I'm assuming due to COVID and the extreme bulk of packages in the mail, everything is delayed.

UPS Tracking Number meaning I ordered some items from two totally different suppliers, and I noticed that the entire tracking number was exactly the same, except for the last 3 digits. Does that mean they were shipped using the same account number, and potentially shipped from the same organization? I found this information in another post.
r/UPS on Reddit: Just came here to say ups is the worst shipping ...

Just came here to say ups is the worst shipping service by far. Every time I order through ups the packages have a 30-40% chance to not arrive. It’s always, and I mean always late. I’ve had them deliver out of state, while “customer service” aka a robot tells me it’s been shipped to my home and confirms the address.
