Abstract: This research examines the role of job stressors in the hospitality industry and their impact on front-line employees’ job stress and psychological well-being.

Research regarding stress in the hospitality industry remains an understudied topic with rich potential for positively affecting peoples' lives. Only by understanding the specific triggers of stress can workers be helped to effectively alleviate it.

To identify the primary sources of occupational stress faced by hotel employees in Bhopal, categorizing them into organizational factors, interpersonal relationships, and individual traits. To examine the relationship between the identified stressors and reported job satisfaction levels.

Data analysis revealed a moderately stressful work environment, with employees facing various stressors related to their work responsibilities. Despite the presence of stress, employees utilized coping mechanisms to navigate these challenges to a moderate extent.

Based on the findings from 563 frontline employees who participated in this research, the study supports the four hypotheses affirming that work-related stressors significantly contributed to employees' psychological distress.
