This list have some episodes that only have a few minutes that talk about or are related to Red John but could be important in the flow and how you understand the story.

After re-watching The Mentalist and about halfway through Series 7 and after the way Series 6 ended after Red John was killed. But they found out about the Blake Association and it went nowhere.

I think part of the problem was that the writers didn't know who Red John was going to be until the season before they aired it. So all of the "hints" and evidence that they showed in earlier episodes was vague and useless.

Any list of non-Red John episodes? Sometimes I'd like to watch the show just for the fun procedural aspect of it and the cutesy banters between the characters without having to see them struggle against the seemingly omnipotent enemy and the heavy dark atmosphere.

Hey guys, I watched this as it was airing, and its fair to say it was one of my favourite shows ever. Ive wanted to do a full rewatch ever since, but the amount of inconsequential episodes makes it difficult. I know there are plenty of lists out there that contain only the red john episodes or the ones in that plotline, but I also enjoyed Jisbon moments and some unique standalone ones.

The worst episodes were red john episodes. And then its some old country sherriff dude that powerful people followed like cult members in support of a sexually perverted serial killer?

I am looking for a list of pretty much the Red John related episodes for seasons 3 and 4.

In addition to that, distancing Red John from the Blake Association, drawing out the conclusion over just a few more episodes, or at least not packing the entirety of the "It was Bertram until it wasn't" storyline into the final episode along with the actual RJ reveal would have allowed it to flow more naturally instead of feeling ...
