I find most of the male vocals, especially with acoustics have too much Auto tune - Suno is great but it needs more customisation options, why is the style box so limited with characters, it should be at least double.

Suno nails it every time but it also sounds fairly generic, while Udio couldn't quite bring the energy. I think the main difference is in the training data used - My guess is that Udio is trained on a wider range of music, while for Suno they selectively trained (or fine-tuned on) more popular music within each genre.

So you can somehow prompt suno on the lyrics box to do some interesting things if you follow the right format. You can prompt the style of instrumental, style of vocals and vocal cleanness. For Example (Chorus) [Heavy riffs, driving beat, powerful clean vocals with a soaring melody]: And then another cool thing is musical notation.

So, I’ve been using Ai tools for music long before Suno. As soon as they were available, I was using them to make silly side projects to amuse myself. I would release those side projects just for the hell of it on my Tunecore “Professional” account, which is where I house my main music project that I don’t use Ai for.

As someone who sadly was never encouraged to play any intruments or sing, but adores music (I consider myself a melomaniac), Suno has been amazing and has brought me so much joy. It's just fun to play with it. I wanna share some of my results with the community. Let me know what you think :)

Their Mequalizer program is awesome for cleaning up suno stuff. Turn on the analyzer and sonogram and it'll show you everything. What frequencies are loudest, where specific sounds are coming from, all kinds of stuff. Once you get good at reading the sonogram you can even spot the noise pretty much immediately. Suno V3 also recognizes the style of the 80s pretty well, for example, "energetic 80s pop".
