Thank you. This answer helps me a lot. I am always online when I do write, so the desktop app is perfect for me. However, just out of curiosity: It is not possible to have the offline version which gets like on a daily or weekly base updated with the latest insights like you do with the rules / grammars behind the desktop app.

It was a bit unusual to work today without LanguageTool after 4 years of using it daily, that’s when you start to apprecate things I tried reinstalling the extension and restarting the whole system a few times, but unfortunately, it still doesn’t work.

I know there is a few months old thread about LanguageTool with Overleaf add-on, but my problem is with the new version 9.01, that is not working (at least with my Windows 11 computer).

I’m having Java exception problems. One response on the forum suggested installing the latest version of Java, but I already have that version in place. I’ve tried removing and disabling the LibreOffice extension, but neither action works. How I proceed from here?
