I've been scammed twice with the altered UPS tracking number. Seller somehow shows my delivery (nothing arrives) with another address hidden within the UPS ship...

EBAY has messed up tracking numbers which allows buyers to OPEN CASES for not delivered Ive spent over 2 hours on the phone with ebay. Ive been selling for 24 years. ebay is recycling tracking numbers and blaming the USPS for this Its ebays software Ive printed labels and tracking says they were already delivered days before they were purchased.

Is there anything sellers can do to reduce the number of cases opened because of premature delivery scans? Have you found any message templates that help reassure buyers? It can be frustrating having to explain the same issue multiple times, especially when the tracking technically shows "Delivered" but the customer still doesn't have the package.
