Apples and Honey Nightingale is a Community Interest Company (CIC). All fees received are invested back into the nursery; ensuring our staff are highly trained and paid well, the catering is of high quality and that the environment is well equipped and cared for.

Apples and Honey Nightingale continued to deliver an intergenerational programme, overcoming the risks of isolation and loneliness for the residents while maintaining the children’s strong relationships with their extended ‘family’.

AHN Intergenerational Education and Training (AHNEd) is the specialist education, training and qualifications arm of Apples and Honey Nightingale CIC. We exist to strengthen intergenerational practice by ensuring it is intentional, ethical and professionally developed.

Research and Development Apples and Honey Nightingale is a hub for research on the benefits of Intergenerational engagements. Together with Nightingale Hammerson, we have hosted academics who have studied the benefits of Intergenerational music, creative arts, exercise, drama programmes on the development and well-being of all involved.

Centre for Intergenerational Practice, Research and Development (England) Apples and Honey Nightingale in partnership with the Beth Johnson Foundation are resurrecting the Centre for Intergenerational Practice, Research and Development (England).

Apples and Honey Nightingale are excited to be taking part again, along with 13 other countries world-wide. Every day there is a sub-theme, and we are planning a variety of programmes to demonstrate the many different areas that intergenerational relationships can benefit each of us, and society.

Sibling discount - We will deduct 10% discount from the sibling with the cheaper monthly invoice where the other child is enrolled and has been attending Apples and Honey Nightingale for at least the prior three months.
