IKEA PAX has lots of availability problems, and I understand the custom solutions are very expensive. So I'm looking at the Home Depot Closet Maid and Closet Evolution options, which have vertical sides, and the latter has corner shelving too. Does anyone have experience with them - quality and how they hold up?

I am looking to remodel the closet with some built ins (think IKEA Pax system) . The issue is that I can’t built the built ins along that back wall due to the baseboard heating. Is it possible to build a vented box of sorts to place over the baseboard and then build the closet on top?
