UNDP country offices conduct a variety of evaluations at different levels, including outcome, impact and project evaluations. Over 7000 evaluations conducted between 1997 and today can be found in the UNDP Evaluation Resource Center.

The Independent Evaluation Office (IEO) is a functionally independent entity dedicated to enhancing accountability and learning within UNDP. We produce rigorous evaluations of UNDP’s work, providing actionable insights to strengthen its contribution to development results globally.

Reflections will be a series of lessons learned based on evaluative evidence. These brief papers aim to satisfy the broader request from UNDP managers to help them identify what works and what doesn’t, and in what contexts.
