What time do the various banks update our balances?
forums.moneysavingexpert.com
I discovered that NatWest do it at the time they do due to the fact their online banking goes offline from 02:00 - 02:40 and then your new balance is showing! I can remember ring once and have a low balance then ring again a little while later and my balance had increased due to a credit and that was about 01.30.

forums.moneysavingexpert.com
Natwest asks me to approve the payment via the app which I used to do when I had my phone but of course, I can't do that anymore (or at least until I can afford a new phone) so I'm stuck. I've tried doing some research but the Natwest help page seems pretty useless and haven't come across any solutions when googling.

NatWest are changing their Rewards account. This currently pays 2% cashback on various household bills but from 1st Feb 2020 will pay £1 per month for logging into their mobile app and £4 per month for paying two DDs for at least £2 each. The monthly fee remains at £2. Will the new monthly payments of up to £5 be taxable as income?
