It would be great if Crazytel could recommend some more up to date FritzBox (7490) settings in the help, as most domestic users are unlikely to be experts. I have only found some from many years ago which do not fit the latest firmware releases.

Something else that has just occurred to me, after changing the settings and clicking on "Apply", how long does it take for the fritzbox to communicate to the Superloop VOIP server/system and get confirmation that the registration was successful?

Power cycling the Fritzbox restores internet access and UI access. I'm running the latest 7.56 OS – but I'm still getting crashes. They are random and not in response to a specific event or time. Anyone else experiencing problems with their 7530?

I suspect every Fritzbox router sold in AU and maybe the entire Fritzbox range (I see one LTE device) includes DECT/VOIP/Answering Machines, that was the main attraction when they first came out over 10 years ago (eg 7390 then 7490). So you can't save money on a Fritzbox by trying to exclude those features. Might be time to replace both devices.

Some users (early adopters/impulse buyers) have experienced that a German Fritz!Box can not be easily converted into a international (multi-language) Fritz!Box.

I am all set up with fritzbox 7490 with voip. No problems with this setup but I fear the days are numbered for the old 7490 and am looking at upgrading to 7590 which I have in storage.
