I'm running the current version of Premiere Pro and when I try and export a file from an external drive, media encoder says 'offline media detected and will be encoded using the offline media graphic'.

I looked up fixes online but everything i have found says to turn of import sequences natively. i tried that it didn't work. i tried rebooting the server that doesn't work. i haven't changed any settings since yeasterday and it worked fine then. Does anyone know how to fix this.

What I had to do was clean the Media Cache Database in Premiere, After Effects, and Media Encoder. Restart my system, and then reopened the project in Premiere, queued up the render in Media Encoder. And then it worked. Hope this helps whoever else is experiencing this issue.

Hi Tad, This is a known issue, although I haven’t come across it yet. I would recommend that you relocate your media files and close PR. Relocating them to the edit folder and restarting PR should work. Moving the files back and forth appears to resolve the problem.
