My nephews and nieces all love playing Minecraft, but they play it on their iPads, iPhones, and iTouches. I play the full PC version of Minecraft and I really want to host a Minecraft server which they all can enjoy. If I set up a Minecraft server on my PC, can they connect to it? What would I need to do to create my dream? Thanks in advance!

However, while Minecraft works, I wanted to try Optifine to see how much my new pc could handle; however, if I go even slightly above the standard Minecraft settings the game crashes.

Whenever I open Minecraft my PC fan instantly starts to make a very obnoxious noise, I know it works harder in order for me to play the game but it's basically unplayable with the noise it makes. Sometimes when I restart and only open Minecraft it doesn't do it, but sometimes even that wont work.

But my PC is so much more powerful than the xbox, and has all the latest features of the newest Minecraft, and.. I already own it, and don't have to buy it again on xbox.

Be aware that the higher your frame rate target, the harder it is to keep frame times low enough to meet it in all circumstances (especially in CPU bound scenarios, and Minecraft is often limited by the CPU). Bedrock seems to enforce v-sync and has no option for it in-game, but apparently you can disable it with a manual file edit?

Same issue here on PC Bedrock. removed anything related to minecraft from my system for a fresh clean install and same issue. Cant type. not in world generation, entering a seed, when in a world i can press "/" and also open the text box but can not actually type anything in...

The original Xbox Minecraft software was based on and was compatible with the PC Beta software. I don't know if this compatibility has continued as the Xbox software as evolved but if a seed is for early Xbox versions then using a PC beta version in the Beta 1.3.1 thru about Beta 1.6 range should work.
