i2p, Freenet, or TOR, which one give the most anonymity?
www.reddit.com
Freenet is by far the best anonymity protector. what is great about freenet is that fact that you can never know what is in your datastore, and it is a completely closed network, so the people there are all there by choice and mutual interest. There is lots of good content there other than porn in all it's nefarious forms - but then that is no different on I2P or TOR. Always good discussion ...

Freenet 2023: A drop-in decentralized replacement for the ... - Reddit
www.reddit.com
Based on what I've read so far, my questions are: Old Freenet was anonymous by design. Why not make New Freenet anonymous and performant by default, rather than saddling users with an extra technical burden that must be opted in to? Someone's New Freenet reputation can be increased with money. Why though? What incentive does somebody have to run a server, when they have no personal connection ...

Is Freenet FUNK worth it? : r/germany - Reddit
www.reddit.com
It's not worth it. I live in Berlin, quite close to the center, and more than half of the time I had no connection (I even bought the stick, which the Freenet representative said it's better if I wanna use it mostly with my laptop and not as a mini-router). I could barely use it and even when it worked, the connection was lost every 20 min or so.
What i can do with FreeNet? : r/Freenet - Reddit

I personally think IM is something Freenet should invest into. We have various centralized "fully encrypted" messaing services as well as federated ones. Freenet could play an interesting role as a fully descentralized, uncensorable, unstoppable and free service anyone with just internet can be part of.

Hi, I'm Ian Clarke, creator of the original Freenet, a decentralized and scalable peer-to-peer network which introduced pioneering concepts such as cryptographic contracts, small-world networks, distributed hashtables, and key-addressable data. Over the past decade, I've been refining a vision for a successor to Freenet. Three years ago, I began developing what is now known as Freenet 2023 or ...
freenet - Anwaltsschreiben Betrug? : r/LegaladviceGerman
