Ainda não li o texto, mas vou falar um pouco da minha experiência jogando Ironsworn no modo solo pelo celular. Eu utilizo o bloco de notas (para anotar minha ficha, status e progresso), os PDFs no celular e um app de dados com D10 (desafios), D6 (dado do jogador) e D100 (Oráculo).

Ironsworn is the best solo RPG I've played hands down. I haven't played it with a group because it's a bit too niche, but I honestly think it would be excellent for that too. The mechanics to advance the narrative are amazing, and the Oracle tables can really help push the story in unexpected and interesting directions.

Aí que entra Ironsworn. É um "passion project" do Shawn Tomkin, e um RPG narrativo na linha de Apocalypse World, porém com mestre opcional. As tabelas de "oráculo" lembram muito o Mythic (outro RPG solo), mas o sistema é brutal e requer um gerenciamento esperto do personagem, mesmo sem mestre.

I know there’s a lot with hacked rules or additional rules but for a newbie ironsworn/starforged is very good at getting your mind into the settings with the truth, character, and setting generation.

During Ironsworn playtesting, I offered a "Digital Kit" which was a Google Slides file with the character sheet, counters, and assets. I found this worked better than just a form-fillable PDF, because Ironsworn is a bit more dependent on marking things and moving counters than filling stuff out.

To a lot of people Ironsworn (and its spinoffs) is the gold standard for solo play. Personally I bounced off Ironsworn harder than any system I tired, it ultimately comes down to personal taste.

The Ironsworn print edition bundle is on sale on DriveThruRPG. It seems like there are a lot of dedicated fans of the game. I’m looking for a moderately crunchy (versus very narrative) RPG to play solitaire. Could someone tell me what makes you a fan of this game before I lay down the cash?

I think the Ironsworn (or Starforged) 2 played co-op mode is one of the best collaborative storytelling experiences I’ve ever had. The game has such a great framework for pacing, narrative tension, ups and downs, twists and turns. Really well put together, and fun to come up with a story and interpret oracles with a partner.
