want to start again on the same map but cant find the map seed infor anywhere Simple: from the game you want the seed of, open the menu panel (with save, load, quit etc buttons) at the bottom of the panel is a version number (very very bottom). Mouse over it and Voila! All info about the game including seed and map.

This is a map on Mongolian Height with a very peculiar western river: it can be crossed, but you won't be able to reach the other team because it's completely surrounded by cliffs.

Depending on your desired play style; any of these four landmarks will be a fine Village start. This Seed offers Easier Play for Newbie thru Map Creation Settings. I am Playing With Normal Default Settings and the Map is perfect.

I'm looking for some way to easily preview seeds like the seed map from chunkbase that may be able to show seeds with some of the common biome mods like biomes o plenty or terralith.
