I have searched and searched and can't find the simple answer to a simple question. Do I need a TV licence to watch Sky NEWS only? That's all I use the TV for. The rest of the time I am into my computer.

Sky+ HD boxes are closing down? ive had a furious argument with sky over the phone today,right now ive got a sky plus hd box,the other day i heard they were closing down all the old boxs,so i phoned sky up twice the other day,i spoke to two diferent people that said it would not affect my hd box,today i read up that in august the hd boxs are also being closed down in august,so i phoned sky up ...

Some of these news channels mind, Sky News being one, do have difficulty fairly often with remote guest invites and journalists live reporting around the world, probably connecting up on a flaky broadband line or mobile phone connection. Do find, CNN seem to do the remote quest and world live reports a lot better with rare issues.

Yesterday the sound stopped on sky news, I watch it on my Samsung tv through channel 4551. Sound is working on all other channels I've just checked the Samsung TV+ stream of Sky News on my Samsung TV and it's the same - no audio whatsoever. You can always watch Sky News live on YouTube for free in the meantime whilst we wait for Samsung to fix it.

Dear Sky, As you will notice. The Sky news app is bombarding people with excessive ads. Actually the functionality of the app is overruled by these ads. When people are on the go and want to dip in fast, they don't want to endure an ad every time the want to view a news video. Previously I followed your suggestion to feed this information to apps@sky.com This still continues after doing this ...

So, why I am I no longer able to get Sky News in HD on channel 501? Have tried channel 881 but it says I need to upgrade, looked at other posts relating to this which say "answered" but no clear solution? Have tried the usual powering the box off and on and also a system reset, picture res is 2160p ...

Sub titles on Sky News are flickering on and off and are completely unreadable. Sub titles on other channels are perfectly displayed.
