Due to the urgent need to regulate healthcare professions in the healthcare sector in the State of Qatar , the Medical Licensing Department was established as a department of the Ministry of Public Health under Article No. (9) Of Law No. (13) Of the year 2002, and its responsibilities are defined under article No. (13) of the mentioned law.

Issuing licenses to practitioners who meet the specified conditions, experiences, and competencies in different specializations as per the policies and laws regulating healthcare practice in addition to the renewal and withdrawal of licenses.

تعلن إدارة التخصصات الصحية عن تحديث نظام تسجيل/ترخيص الممارسين الصحيين الإلكتروني، حيث تم إدراج مسمى "فني الصيدلة" ضمن مجالات ممارسة مهنة الصيدلة وإزالته من المهن الطبية المساعدة. هذا التحديث يهدف إلى تحسين دقة البيانات والإحصاءات وضمان أن مسمى/فئة الممارس الصحي على النظام الإلكتروني.
