The Julier Pass (Romansh: Pass dal Güglia, German: Julierpass, Italian Passo del Giulia) (elev. 2284 m) is a mountain pass in the Albula Alps of Switzerland. It connects the Engadin valley with central Graubünden.

In 1923, when the Swiss Federeal Government put pressure on the canton to build a pass road suitable for motorised vehicles, the canton of Graubunden chose the Julier Pass and the pass road was built between 1935 and 1940 the first alpine traverse with asphalt.

Der Julierpass ist Ausgangspunkt der Bündner Hauteroute, eines Fernwanderwegs, der auf der Nordseite des Engadins bis zum Flüelapass verläuft. Als erster Beleg des Namens gilt an den Berg Julien in einer Urkunde von 1365. Rätoromanische Formen sind Güglia (1608), surmiranisch Gelgia.

The Julier is one of the few Swiss alpine passes that stays open year-round, thanks to its comparatively gentle gradient and efficient snow clearance. At 2,284m it's no pushover, but the road is wide, well-maintained, and fast. The north side from Tiefencastel sweeps through open alpine meadows.

Mit dem Bau eines Fahrsträsschens am Septimer (1387) geriet der Julier endgültig ins Hintertreffen. Der Julier blieb wichtig für den Zugang ins Oberengadin und zum Berninapass.
