Looking for a tool chest for home use and some of the husky line has caught my eye. This isn’t an immediate need so I’m willing to wait for a sale. I got a question. If I go to home depot to rent a truck. They said I need car insurance. Now do they varify your insurance or do they just see the car insurance paper and as long as it says the date is valid they will let you rent a truck?even if you cancled your insurance but the card says it's valid thru a certain date. Like I said do they verify by contacting ur insruance company?

Two words: lowest bidder. Home Depot and Lowe's are middlemen and sub the work out. Search this sub for "Home Depot installation" and you'll find tons of horror stories. Good contractors don't need big box stores to generate their leads because they're already booked up by the end of March.
