I tried to add the amazon app on my android phone. It send a verification code to my hotmail account. Because I have never tried to enter my Hotmail account via my phone it thinks it's phony. My verification account for hotmail is my gmail account. I try to get into my gmail account but they ask me to add at least one email account.

All of a sudden all of my Android devices with Gmail app are requesting 'Credentials Needed' for my microsoft email account. Email access works fine on web and other non google devices - just the gmail app for some reason. Have tried changing the password, two factor, app specific password. Same result. Any ideas?
