Water heater from Home Depot vs one from plumber - Reddit
www.reddit.com
There are pros and cons to buying it from home depot vs the plumber buying it from a wholesaler. Main thing is warranty issues. If the heater has problems the plumber that installed it will be able to either replace the unit or change parts with ease, won't have to call customer service and deal with all the bs.

A Home Depot training is not going to get you anywhere with a serious contractor. Getting into an apprenticeship is not only free to you, you also get paid to work while you learn the trade. Finding unconventional routes isn’t a great idea.
What’s it like working at Home Depot ? : r/HomeDepot - Reddit

Genuinely a good store, it varies alot between stores but the management at the stores I've been at all have been great, partly because home depot kinda forces its people in any managerial positions to be nice to the other associates. Even if the management at your store sucks, it's a pretty good job Reply reply fiscal3498 •

Home Depot has awesome prices on plants, and they have a great return policy. The catch is that you have about a 70% chance of bringing home a plant with spider mites. I just bought two plants from Lowes, and of course, I didn't notice spider mites until it was too late, and those bastards infected nearby plants.
Did they remove purchase history from the website/account

I no longer can see my in store purchase history at home depot's website. Just curious if this is the same for anyone else and if they know if this…

Not sure about now — but a few years ago, some Home Depot regions went full-uniform; meaning no more undercover/plainclothes at all. You wear a “low visibility” shirt that still has the HD logo on it. It’s pretty much the exact equivalent of a Target APS. Same job, same kind of duties.
Home Depot no longer carries Estwing? What the fuck?

Home Depot discontinued the product line under the pressure of Stanley Black and Decker and TTI (Milwaukee), period. Estwing has been profitable making hammers that literally last forever.
