1. Strictly necessary storage
We may store session/authentication identifiers, CSRF/security state, checkout state and anti-abuse information required to operate requested services. Disabling these items can prevent sign-in, checkout or secure account functions from working.
2. Preference storage
Language, light/dark/system theme and similar interface preferences may be stored in cookies or localStorage so the site can remember your choice between visits.
3. Payments and third parties
A payment provider, Microsoft Store or other service opened during checkout may set its own cookies under its own policy. CTR-L does not control third-party store cookies.
4. Analytics
If optional analytics technologies are used, they must be configured and presented in accordance with applicable consent requirements. We do not describe an optional analytics cookie as “necessary” merely to avoid a consent requirement.
5. Managing storage
You can remove cookies and site data through your browser settings. Removing necessary authentication/session storage can sign you out and reset preferences.
