1. Store purchases
For a purchase made through Microsoft Store or another third-party marketplace, request the refund through that marketplace when its rules require it. CTR-L cannot override a marketplace’s payment/refund decision.
2. Direct CTR-L purchases
For direct purchases, submit the order number and reason through https://account.ctr-l.com/?section=support. We review whether the license was activated, the digital content was delivered, the nature of any technical problem, and any mandatory statutory cancellation/refund rights that apply to you.
3. Digital content and activation
Because software and license keys are digital content delivered electronically, the legal right to withdraw can differ by country and may be affected when immediate digital performance begins after the consumer’s legally valid consent/acknowledgement. We do not use this policy to remove rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
4. Technical problems
If a supported product has a material technical problem, contact support first so we can troubleshoot, provide a corrected build or another appropriate remedy. If the problem cannot reasonably be resolved, a refund or other remedy may be available under applicable law and purchase terms.
5. Abuse and duplicate purchases
Verified accidental duplicate purchases may be eligible for correction or refund. Requests involving chargeback abuse, fraudulent payment, stolen keys or intentional license sharing may be denied where permitted by law and the affected license may be suspended.
6. Refund effect
When a refund is completed, the related paid license may be revoked or returned to an unassigned state and paid features may stop working. Your locally created project files are not intentionally deleted by the license revocation process.
